We priced ¥100,000 paid in total by bank transfer, using quotes captured between 02:31 and 02:38 JST on October 20, 2026. Where a provider adds the fee on top, we took it out of the ¥100,000 first. Wise’s mid-market rate at that moment was 1 JPY = 1.74671 PKR. Rates change every day.
| Provider | Fee | Rate (1 JPY =) | Recipient gets (bank) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Remitly | ¥0 | 1.7543 PKR | PKR 175,430 |

| Wise | ¥1,190 | 1.74671 PKR | PKR 172,592 |

Western Union’s calculator returned two prices for bank and mobile wallet payouts, ¥0 and ¥800, without saying which applies when. We use the ¥800 price in our scores.
Cash pickup costs more. SBI Remit’s cash rate was 1.7391 PKR, so ¥100,000 gave PKR 172,168. Western Union’s cash pickup fee was ¥1,480 at 1.7318 PKR, so ¥100,000 gave PKR 170,616.
